From 15th May 2026, Arexvy, a Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine will be added to the National Immunisation Program for older people.

This means the vaccine is free for:

• Adults aged 75 years and over; and
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients aged 60 years and over.

RSV vaccination is strongly recommended for older people. If you wish to be vaccinated, please contact our Practice. Please note – initial supply of the vaccine is limited and only a small number of doses are provided to clinics per month. This means that your name may be added to a waiting list and you will be contacted when a dose is available for you.
